We always label the eight major food allergens on our package by their common name. rBST is a synthetic hormone given to dairy cows to enhance milk production. We do not source any milk or cream from cows that have been treated with rBST. No significant difference has been shown between milk from rBST treated and non-rBST treated cows. The suppliers of our other ingredients cannot guarantee that the milk they use comes from non-rBST treated cows.

For the time being Dreamland Creamery is only being sold in the Portland, Oregon and Chicago areas. If you are interested in it being sold near you let us and your local retailers know! See contact us.

All Dreamland Creamery raw dairy products are pasteurized in our facilities using the high temperature short time (HTST) method. Our eggs are pasteurized at the vendor prior to delivery to our production facilities.

At Dreamland Creamery, we do not have dedicated peanut or tree nut free lines or facilities. However, precautionary measures are taken to prevent cross contamination. These include: thorough cleaning of our production lines and equipment, and a strict separation of materials that contain the eight allergens.

When kept at the recommended storage temperature, Dreamland Creamery products are excellent through the "best before" date found on the package. Dreamland Creamery products are best stored at home, unopened, at 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C). For extended storage up to the "best before" date, we recommend -10 degrees F (-23.3 degrees C) or colder, when possible.

Dreamland Creamery products are at their best if they can sit for 5 minutes outside of the freezer before scooped.

No. Dreamland Creamery products should not be refrozen if thawed. Thawing and refreezing can create large ice crystals and cause undesirable grainy/gritty textures or diminished quality.
